Well we certainly need a bounce back win. Seems like everyone is winning and playing games. We have just played 1 and lost it. Don't let the 8 ball get in front of boys!

Also on ice for #Isles optional are Dobson, Johnston, Kuhnhackl (the scratches from Friday), Ladd (IR), along with Cizikas, Martin, Dal Colle, Mayfield, Pelech.

Thomas Greiss first goalie off at #Isles optional morning skate. As Robin Lehner told me repeatedly last season, that meant nothing when it came to him and Greiss.

But I certainly think Greiss will start tonight.

                    It's the smart move.

Paul Maurice confirms Broissoit will make his second straight start. "I just really liked his game (Friday). ... Gave us a chance to mount the comeback."

Maurice said Hellebuyck is going to play plenty. #NHLJets #Isles

Kaszycki's Krew is ready for his second visit to the Nassau Coliseum and his own "Home Opener" tonight. Victory Preparations are well underway - and given the scores in the football games of both New Jersey Football clubs - this will be the only local victory today !

Tjay can rest easy knowing the Krew is preparing for victory!

I would like to say this is a big game but let's be honest with the way the NHL is now. All 82 games are big games!

I am watching tonight on Sportsnet; I would like to see the Coliseum attendance first hand, where the home opener 2019 may not have been a sell out.

A sellout on paper. There were quite a few empty seats.
