Winnipeg hands down his best option.
The object is to win. Not just to compete, but to win.

Tough to pass that up if you dig the lifestyle - which a lot of those guys do.

With the money you make you can go to whatever shows you want. I'm no longer interested in gambling but I would be more about the weather for me.

I love Las Vegas but I am pretty sure I don't want to live there.

I have never seen the rich part of Vegas but I'm guessing it would be pretty nice. I lived in a few cities and just avoided downtown. Could do the same with the strip I'm sure. However the arena is right by the strip so you could just hit the arena and and back to home. Once again since I have lived in Winnipeg and been to Vegas many times. It is no contest for me.... I would be the next coach of the Knights lol

The team practices at an arena in Summerlin. The AHL team has an arena in nearby Henderson. Both are NICE suburb towns about 15 mins from the strip. I bet the players with families live in Summerlin - but I do not know.

                  • Trotz and the Winnipeg Jets will talk this weekend about whether he will be the next head coach of the team.

                      • Maybe Lou realized that Barry's heart wasn't in it.

"I know I'm a good coach but you can't be a good coach if you're not fully committed. You can't be at this game. So I'll use this year to do what I need to do with my family and if I get back into coaching, I'll be fully in." https://t.co/okZ91nFHxX

Yup. A couple of us made that observation as well. You could tell something was off just from his post game interviews. And with 1 year remaining on his contract and the increasing threat of Lane Lambert leaving for a head coaching job elsewhere, I'm sure this was well thought out and calculated.
