Neil Best @sportswatch Jack Capuano told me after practice Casey Cizikas still is day to day with an upper body issue, even though he skated at practice. #Isles

Isles sign Casey Cizikas to a five-year deal worth $16.75 million.
I'm thrilled to have him locked up, but I thought we'd have gotten it done for less money."We’re all buying in. There’s pride about being an Islander.”

Most likely, Quine slots in as 4th line C next year, and I'm ok with that.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Casey and what he brings. But I do think this is an overpayment. Is this the place for that? I think I would rather overpay Kyle by $500,000 or $750,000 than I would Casey.
