Kearns is here because both Cizikas and Clutterbuck are out. If it was just Casey they could plug in Gionta and be OK. When pretty much any team gets down to their 15th forward it's not going to be pretty.

Nothing like old time hockey. I had broke my wrist and even played one game with the cast on due to other injuries on the team. I remember the day I got the cast off the doctor said no hockey for 6 more weeks. I lived in Ottawa at the time. Played that night in Hull Quebec and got a Gordie Howe hat trick that night. It wasn't until I dropped the gloves that I thought I probably shouldn't be doing this lol!

Broken hand is probably more like a 6 week injury. I think it is either a fracture or bone bruise.
