Am I the only one here who is enjoying seeing this team struggle?

I'm more focused on how the Islanders don't look like an expansion team.

I was so hoping the Islanders would trade for this guy. He is such a good 2 way defenseman.

Shea Theodore's 7-yr contract is a flat $5.2 M salary per season, no fluctuation. No signing bonuses. Includes a 5-team no-trade clause in the last 2 yrs of the contract

I hope this sets the bar for guys like Eberle and Lee. I would sign BOTH up for that term and amount right now.
I think the 4 year term is the key. If Lee or Eberle want more years then the AAV goes down, or should.

Lee I would. Eberle I'd go just about what he is making now, which isn't far off.

I don’t cover hockey, but this statement from a Vegas player just suspended for PEDs is fascinating given what these statements usually say. https://t.co/vz0CSyIRZf

Golden Knights defenseman Nate Schmidt suspended 20 games without pay for violating the NHL's performance-enhancing substances policy.

General manager George McPhee’s first true offseason in Las Vegas failed to yield the type of acquisition that could send shock waves through the Western Conference despite an enviable amount of cap space.

Didn't realize he was that old. Man the older I get the quicker the time flies! However with what happened this year I have to think this deal is fair for both sides.

I wouldn't mind living there because I like riding in temperatures that hover in the 100's. Or for Canadians and the rest of the world in the 40's
