And whileI agree with him, I am sure we all do, I am willing to bet that this same author was writing about the parade plans last year also.

    • Oh, well I thought they might lose him. He took a home team discount. Showing very poor judgement, of course.

Beyond dumb. I hope Dubas never leaves, because he continues to hurt the organization left and right.

This is a good deal for them on Rielly. BUT - 54% on 4 players, not even counting Nylander! Insane.

I think Morgan Rielly is highly overrated.

              I'm surprised, I thought he'd get at least 8.

              • I'm going to cut Dubas a little break on this contract. My reasons? It is well know that this is the last chance for this team as is. Dubas already backed them for this year but not next. I can only assume since this contract kicks in next year. If the Leafs fail I would fully expect them to trade Marner over the summer. Probably best for both player and the team even though the Leafs are his boyhood team.

At least the make up of the team would be better with one of your higher contracts going to a defenceman instead of a forward. But I to am with George. I think he is over rated as well.

I hope they have another historic collapse, Dubas somehow survives, and then he gets ripped off when he's forced to trade Marner.
